Project brief
This battleship scale model was commissioned by a private collector as a 1:200 museum-grade centerpiece. The hull, turrets and superstructure were built from naval reference drawings, with every silhouette checked against historical photographs before fabrication.
Materials in this battleship scale model
Main and secondary armament barrels are turned brass, railings and radar arrays are photo-etched steel, and all standing rigging is knotted by hand following the original rigging plans. The deck is airbrushed in authentic two-tone camouflage matched to historical records, with subtle weathering requested by the collector.
Certification & delivery
The battleship scale model carries a numbered certificate of authenticity and took eleven weeks from 3D approval to final factory inspection. The collector received weekly photo reports throughout the build and a foam-lined wooden crate with insured door-to-door delivery.
